Day 51 - Billy No Mates

When I woke up this morning and saw the glorious spring sunshine, I changed my mind about having a day off from golf and set about trying to organise a game for today.  Alas, it appeared that I was the only one inspired by the weather and I ran into a brick wall of excuses: in-laws visiting, paint-brush in hand, preparing for  the Grand National, playing at Surbiton, yadda, yadda, yadda...

As things turned out, it was all for the best as there were lots of other things I should have been doing anyway! First on the agenda was trying to get the insurance sorted out for the new car: not the easy to do on line via the meerkats when none if the websites have the car you want to buy on their databases!  I had to resort to using the telephone...

Then trip up to the Club for a planning meeting with Mike, our Head Professional. The season is starting to heat up now and there are a number of things to sort out. I am very positive though and am convinced we can have a good year working together!

Back home to cut the grass and dang! I had planned to pick up my clubs for the game tomorrow and I forgot to do so...
